Last week our Accounts Assistant, Jenna Payne, took part in a tandem skydive from 13,000 feet! Jenna wanted to raise money for local charity EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices). By overcoming her fear, she has raised over £1,000 to help the organisation continue their invaluable work supporting children and their families facing extreme challenges. Her just giving page is still live so please, contribute if you can.
‘This was a great opportunity for me to do something daring whilst raising money for such a worthy cause. Seeing the work that the Hospice carries out and the amazing difference it makes to the lives of the children and their families, I really wanted to help them make a difference.’ said Jenna. ‘I’m thrilled at how generous everyone has been and my fund is still increasing!’
EACH provides a range of services for children and young people suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Their services range from day and short break care through to end of life care. This charity makes a huge difference to people’s lives. It is a lifeline for people going through what is probably the most difficult experience they will ever face. No one should have to suffer this heartache, but EACH does all they can to support the children and families in such situations.
