Last Friday saw Ansaback 24/7 call centre (along with the rest of the IPPlus PLC family) descend onto the Ramada Encore hotel in Ipswich for their annual Christmas Party, and what a night it was to remember.
After a champagne reception and delicious meal followed by mince pies and coffee, staff had a fun packed evening ahead of them. This year Ansaback decided to do something different and had 3 performances lined up for the entertainment. The 3 individual acts were all employees from various departments, who knew we had such talented musicians within the company! Kicking off was call centre agent Mark Prentice, an incredibly talented rapper, who had devised a rap about Ansaback and the call centre which went down a treat. Customer Support Executive Justin Stephens and call handling agent Amy Leighton are both singers in their spare time and we found out they are both pretty darn good! Justin belted out a rendition of ‘Let Me Entertain you’ which went down a treat and Amy followed with a beautiful version of Beyonce’s ‘Listen’ which bought some to the verge of tears!
As is tradition, we had our annual Call Centre Awards ceremony at the party with 3 categories; Best Newcomer, Most Consistent Performing Agent and Most Billable Time.
- Best Newcomer was awarded to Matthew Button. Matthew progressed quickly through all training levels and has become an integral part of the call centre team and has even become brand champion for one of our DRTV clients. Well done Matthew!
- Most Consistent Performing Agent was awarded to Lucy Barker. Lucy has won the award for her continued efforts for her continual customer service, her short wrap times and talk times and again for her great results as one of our brand champions for a large retail client. Thank you, Lucy, for all of your hard work!
- Most Billable Time was awarded to Mary Goldsmith. Mary has been with us since 2009 and is an important and valued member of team. Mary racked up an incredible 88,335 minute throughout the year which really is a great achievement. Congratulations Mary!
As a reward for their efforts, each winner won a medal, a bottle of champagne and assorted shopping vouchers. Again, a huge well done to all three!
Many have stated that this year’s party was the best one yet so the standards have been set extremely high for next year’s bash.
