On the 10th July 2010, Stuart Gordon Ansaback Call Centre Financial Director, was part of the team celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Martlesham Heath Based village day/musical extravaganza ‘Music on the Green’. Every year Music on the Green supports a local charity and for the second year running EACH – a charity supporting families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk, was the chosen recipient.
This year Music on the Green focused their attention on the dedicated Tree house Appeal, with the festival generating a staggering £6000 donation for the brand new children’s Hospice that is being built in Ipswich.
All revellers to the music festival were fortunate to be able to listen to the sounds of the best local talented musicians for 12 hours, whilst marveling in the scorching hot weather. Music acts were varied with sounds ranging from the Suffolk Gospel Choir, to The Martells and Ska’d For Life.
All who attended this year’s event agreed the day was a triumph, with the £6000 donation doubling the amount raised last year. Plans are already in motion for the next Music in the Green fundraising event which is to be held on 9th July 2011; to help with the even or to find out more please email firstname.lastname@example.org. The call centre would like to say well done to Stuart and to everyone else who helped make this event happen.
