A not-for-profit trade body serving and supporting businesses in all areas of the multi-channel retail environment. CATEX is led by an elected advisory board of leading industry experts that facilitates vital networking, bringing together the most knowledgeable and passionate individuals from the retail sector; creates access to latest advice and information and manages industry events and awards for retailers and suppliers. Ansaback have thrown themselves fully into the workings of CATEX by attending their Annual Summit and exhibiting at ECMOD360 at Olympia last month. Steve Gregory our Corporate Sales Manager also delivered a session in the ECMOD360 conference on how best to deliver great customer experiences at your busiest selling period, Christmas! Steve’s talk centred on how retailers could outsource their customer interactions during peaks of demand rather than make customers wait or worse still lose them altogether. The talk was well received with the audience taking note of options such as overflow of calls or extending their operating hours during the most critical selling period of the year for most retailers. At the exhibition, Ansaback joined other specialist suppliers at the annual awards, which recognises outstanding suppliers as voted for by their clients. We will be working hard to feature in these in the coming years! The next event is in York at the end of October, where Steve will once again be talking about ‘doing more for less’.
