Ansaback Carbon Champion Going for Silver!

In 2011 Ansaback was first awarded the Bronze Carbon Charter in recognistion of our efforts to reduce our Carbon Footprint in the workplace. We were fortunate to be awarded Bronze again for 2012 but now is the time to take it further and in 2013 we are confident we will achieve the Silver award.

With the election of a new Carbon Champion, Nicholas House, we will push forward with different green and sustainable initiatives which include; better recycling processes throughout the 24/7 call centre, the sourcing of green stationary such as envelopes, paper and pens and also looking at ways of producing our own electricity.

As we run our call centre operations 24/7 (365), we have a great need for electricity and if we are able to provide for ourselves using a sustainable methods it will greatly help the cause. As time moves forward, there is going to be more strain on the worlds resources and if people don’t take action now, our future generations will suffer. We will be keeping our blog up to date with any new developments and plans as we go along.
