24/7 call centre job opportunity- IT Manager

Ansaback, a 24/7 Call Centre based in Suffolk, are looking to recruit a new IT Manager.

You will be responsible for the streamlined operation of the Ansaback office IT team and services. Accountable for the IT budget, to design, plan, coordinate and effect IT-related activities.

You will provide administrative direction and hands on support for daily operational activities of the IT department, working very closely with the decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend and implement cost effective technology solutions. You will also be involved in general business management team meetings.

You must be extremely self-motivated, confident and be driven to achieve results. You will be responsible for a group of IT Technicians and be required to delegate effectively to ensure tasks are completed, and be able to project manage from start to finish.

For this ‘hands on role’ with project management skills, you will be able to work under pressure, have attention to detail and experience using the following:

• Running SQL Server 2005/2008 in high availability environments
• Load balanced web servers, experience of VoIP and SIP telephony systems (gateways, SIP proxies, media server etc)
• Windows XP/Windows 7, MS SQL, Citrix and Exchange
• Working knowledge of PCI compliance or ISO27001
• Project knowledge of Disaster recovery/back up storage solutions

A Driving license is also essential as you will be required to travel for meetings.

Normal hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m, although there will be out of hours technical cover required. System upgrades and any systems outages will also require out of hours availability
