Christian Pawsey, Managing Director of Ipswich based 24/7 call centre Ansaback, successfully completed the Marathon de Paris, on Sunday 10th April.
Tackling a heat wave of 27 degrees on the day, Christian was one of 40,000 runners taking part in the marathon and managed to complete the run with a personal best of 3:34; placing him about 5000 overall and 2000th respectively in his age group!
This is the 4th marathon that Christian has completed, however it was his first time doing the Paris marathon, and something which he is pleased to have accomplished.
The Marathon de Paris is held annually and many people find joining the marathon a perfect opportunity to sample what the city has to offer. Christian is pictured below proudly showing the finishers medal in front of the Arc de Triomph, near the finish (and start) of the race.
