In a unique world record attempt, the Ansaback call centre CEO’s son Hugo Catchpole and three of his friends are riding a quadricycle from Lands End to John O' Groats - aka Le Jog !
Various previous records have been set but none so far on a quadricycle. QuadLeJog are doing this hardcore daunting physical challenge to raise money for the charity Whizz Kids, which is a hugely suitable charity on many counts notably “4 wheels and youth !”.
At the end of day 5, the team stopped just south of Lancaster for the night, and our Lancaster office were up early to cheer the team on as they began day 6 of their marathon journey.
Despite the awful weather the team were in good spirits as they left Lancaster heading for the Cumbrian wilderness.
A big well done from the North West office to the QuadLejog team, wish wish you every success in acheiving the world record.

On Thursday 7th June at 8.09 pm, Ansaback call centre agent Jean Everson answered our 17,000,000 call, yet another fantastic milestone for our 24/7 contact centre.
It is always an exciting time when an important milestone such as this is nearing, all of the the agents want to be the one that takes that all important milestone call and win themselves a voucher.
Ansaback continues to go from strength to strength and we look forward to announcing the 18,000,000th call sometime very soon!

Ansaback were lucky enough to get the opportunity to experience the first fully electric car on the UK market. The generous people at Bristos car garage in Ipswich were happy to let us borrow the Twizy for the entire afternoon allowing numerous members of staff from the back office and call centre to try out the latest in vehicle transport.
The Renault Twizy has a range of 60 miles and can reach a top speed of 50mph meaning it would be perfect as a run-around. A lot of people commented that there are not enough charging points for electric vehicles in the UK yet, but the Twizy can actually be plugged into any normal power outlet found in the home putting it at the forefront of the electric car market and making it very easy to charge up.
Nicholas House, Sales Executive at the call centre said “It was an incredible feeling to drive the electric car, not only is it fun, but environmentally friendly as well. I can definitely see this as a mode of transport for the future”
The future is upon us, so it is time to get used to seeing vehicles such as the Twizy as everyone here at Ansaback is sure it will be great a success.

Everyone will be celebrating the Jubilee this weekend and Ansaback are no different. Our very own queen in the corner, aka Sharon Ball our Operations Director decided to spruce up the call centre ready for the festivities. Union Jack Flags are covering the walls and appropriately coloured red, white and blue balloons have been tied together and litter the desks.
Whilst most people will be enjoying the two days off for the celebrations, Ansaback will still be buzzing with activity as our 24/7 call centre will still be alive providing the best level of call handling for our many happy clients. Our agents hard work will not go un-noticed, as Sharon Ball has arranged for a selection of Jubilee themed treats to be handed out. Tea, scones and the classic Victoria sponge will be on offer for all of our 24/7 call handling agents to say a big thank for their continued efforts.

The Olympic Torch relay route has been confirmed for its Lancaster leg of the journey, and will be passing directly underneath our offices in Dalton Square in Lancaster. As Olympic fever starts to grip the country this is a fantastic chance for our North West team to savour the excitement of the Olympics and enjoy a genuine once in a life time occasion!. The torch is schedule to pass through Lancaster on Friday 22nd June and should be passing our offices around 12pm. Ansaback Business Development Manager in the North West, Iain Murray tells us ‘I am genuinely excited about seeing the Olympic Torch Relay. This symbolic event dates back to ancient Greece and to think it’s passing my office window is almost surreal. In any case I don’t have to worry about missing any calls when I’m watching the spectacle as our 24/7 call centre in Ipswich will be there to pick up my calls!’. No doubt Iain will take some great photos of the relay to post on our blog.
